This graphics card is compatible with my PC?

Well I have a Dell Dimension 3000 and have recently started to update. It has a Pentium 4 2 GHz, 2 GB of RAM (thats 2 1GB sticks of 184-pin, SDRAM DDR) is here; http://accessories.euro.dell.com/sna/productdetail. aspx? c = ie & l = en & cs = & sku = A1535114 iedhs1 What I want to know if this graphics card is compatible …. It is a PowerColor HD 2400 256 MB PCI PRO ….. My computer does that PCI should work …. I do not want to spend my money on something if it does not work, it can be found here; http://www.powercolor.com/global/products_features.asp?ProductID=1715 Any help would be appreciated. Added note: My PC video controller sucks pure and simple. He has no decent pixel shader and video memory extremely low. I want to play a game … not just watching a black screen and imagine what happens. I can not purchase a new PC due to financial reasons.

Dat Rapper, these cards are PCI-Express, and it needs a PCI card. Your PC Card documentation: http://support.euro.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/dim3000/en/SM/specs.htm # Then wp1076117 Anyway, there is a 512MB version of the 2400 PRO, and it should help make a little better than version 256. http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102846 ATi offers a PCI version of 4350 but has similar performance 2400PRO 512MB DDR2 version. http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161283 I would recommend a nvidia 9000 (there are versions PCI). It has 128-bit, not 64 bits as the 2400PRO. This speed is also faster. Here a link, see if you can buy / find your You are here:) http://www.newegg.ca/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=2010380048 201 069 609 642%% 20106792522 & name = GeForce% 20series% 209 It is also the Nvidia 8000 series, but I'd rather go with a 2400PRO. Http: / / www.newegg.ca/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=2010380048% 201069609642% 20106791921 & name = GeForce% 208% 20series Overall therefore, either go with a 2400PRO 512 or 9000 series Nvidia cards. You ******* may have / need to upgrade your power supply or 350W to 300W. The 250W is not enough stock, and it is old (which means it can be only produce 200W or so at this time). Good luck! :)
