What graphics card should I go for a Compaq Presario V3000?

I want a new graphics card for my laptop as all the games I tried to play never work. I did research on the cards but I have no idea what will work with my specs. Here they are: Intel Core Duo T2400 1.83 GHz 512 MB Size RAMInstalled Technology DDR II SDRAM – 400 MHz and above Memory specification compliance PC2-4300 StorageHard Drive 60 GB – 5400 rpm VideoGraphics Processor / Vendor Intel 945GM I do not want to spend too much if possible, any help I can give would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Please consider that I do not know much about graphics cards so if I see a load of abbreviations and jargon complex it'll go straight over my head! Lol
