I could not find conformation of this model of laptop stating that it is DDR2, but I sure it is, it will not be a laptop with SLI / Crossfire has the DDR3 1024 at least another year. If its more than 512 MB in a laptop then its DDR2. If you can find one with 256 MB or 512 MB then it will more than likely DDR3 Edit: There is a dedicated graphics chip, it does not share the system RAM. It has its own dedicated memory so that the system RAM is DDR2 not naked on the type of graphics memory.
