Is to use 1600MHz DDR3 RAM with a motherboard that supports up to 1066?

I bought a CPU, motherboard and heatsink combo Heat of knowledge and I'm just wondering if it's good if I put in 6GB of 1600 MHz DDR3 RAM when the motherboard supports DDR3 memory 1066 MHz. Is it backward compatible? Do I have to set anything in the BIOS? I was thinking of buying this RAM: http://ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=37149&vpn=TR3X6G1600C8&manufacture=Corsair&promoid=1208 This is the motherboard I have: http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?invtid=IPMTB-TK-BULK&cat=MBB This is not the best but I'm much with a chip i7. ram each operate at different clock speeds .. so .. since the max supproted by 1066 .. motherboard is the fastest suppored by RAM at a speed less than or equal to 1066 running on your machine .. sure .. not not buy RAM with a frequency much .. it costs more .. and you can use .. so … go for a 1333 or 1066 DDR3 RAM DDR2 800 MHz .. same so beautiful … sppedds but not least ..
