I NEED HELP I have an old Sony VAIO PCG-K23 What do I need to just run Adobe CS4?
I need help! I have a Sony Vaio PCG-K23 Description: Intel Pentium 4 2.8 GHz 512 MB ??DDR PC2100 (2 GB maximum) 60 GB Hard Drive 24x CD-RW Combo Optical 15.4 "WXGA (1280×800) widescreen LCD and ATI IGP 345M integrated graphics with 32 MB shared memory Audio AC'97 Modem 56K V.90, 10/100 Ethernet and 802.11g Wi-Fi three USB 2.0 ports, an iLink (FireWire), a type II PC Card slot and Memory Stick Pro on 14.1 "x 10.9" x 2.2 "@ 8.1 pounds. Windows XP Home, Microsoft Works Suite 7.0, Quicken Suite and Sony Digital Software What do I need to upgrade (such as RAM) to be able to run Adobe CS4 is not just all the stuff want to run the programs. lol Please help I need a new computer or can I just buy some RAM, I'm lost HELP IF PLEASE!
RAM is definitely what you need to update, put the full 2 ??GB in there. I would also invest in a large hard drive external to store your files. CS4 will of course be installed on the drive market, but you can keep your files on the outside. 1 TB external hard drives are available now for about $ 125. I think if you do these two things, you'll agree, although it is possible if you have more than one program open at a time, it might lag. Hope that helps!
