TRAP 00000006 – New machine will not start!?

Hello all! I would really appreciate any help you can offer me! I just building my first custom PC Intel Core 2 Due Q6600 OCZ 2 x 1GB DDR3 GIGABYTE-EP45-UD3P 750W PSU Radeon HD4850 512MB but it will not start. It will load the screen motherboard with BIOS options and such, then list a load of stuff before saying "Boot from CD / DVD." As soon as the disc spins up the system restarts. Although 1 in 20, he will give a TRAP 00000006 error, which is supposed to be related to Windows 2000, even if I'm on a Windows XP disk.

there has not called Core 2 Quad Q6600 Core 2 Duo E processos Start wih as E8400 Core 2 Quad prcessors begin with Q as Q6600 how come u know where u got that proccesoor?
