How better is DDR2 8500 DDR2 6400 RAM from the RAM?

I'm using 2×2GB 6400 RAM for the moment and I wondered if it would be interesting to upgrade? will I notice any kind of performance increase?

depends on what you are a mother to put on … if system calls you for DDR2 6400, and you install DDR2 8500, it defaults to 6400 ddr speed …. I do the upgrade once …. but the board I used was evaluated for 6400 pc, and DDR2 8500 did nothing for performance … might help is if you are an overclocker.
